Lucknow: Vehicle carrying 29 passengers falls into canal; 7 children missing

In Lucknow, a vehicle carrying 29 passengers fell into Indira canal in Nagram town. As many as 22 people have been rescued, while 7 children are missing. According to SK Bhagat, IG Range Lucknow, rescue operation by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and local drivers is in force. CM Yogi Adityanath has led the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) to adopt any possible strategy to find and rescue the remaining 7 children.

Anantnag Encounter: UP CM announces ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakh, govt job for Ketan Sharma's family

As the encounter is underway between the Indian Security Forces and Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag region. Army Major Ketan Sharma lost his life in the same encounter. Uttar Pradesh Minister Suresh Rana, in an interview, said, "Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has declared that Army Major Ketan Sharma's family will be receiving financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh and a govt job to a family member. Also, a road will be named after his name." To receive Ketan Sharma's mortal remains a large number of people reunited in Meerut at his home.

Uttar Pradesh government to publish press release in Sanskrit

Uttar Pradesh government, in a pitch to promote the Sanskrit language, will now be publishing the press release in Sanskrit alongside Hindi, English, and Urdu. The senior officials of the Information Department expressed that the important speeches of the CM Yogi Adityanath and various government information will be published in Sanskrit alongside various languages. This is for the first time the officials have taken such steps. The speech of Yogi Adityanath in the NITI Aayog meeting was conveyed in Sanskrit and was accepted effectively. Accordingly, the plan is to expand it above and beyond. Yogi Adityanath, in a function, stated that Sanskrit is the DNA of India.
