Haryana Govt to pay double salary to doctors, nurses, medical staff

To appreciate them, the Haryana Government has decided to double the salary of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and others who are fighting against Coronavirus. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced after a meeting with civil surgeons, Indian Medical Association chiefs from various districts in the state through video conferencing. CM said till the time the coronavirus period lasts, all the staffers who are directly involved in the treatment or taking care of COVID-19 patient their salary will be doubled. Centre sanctions INR 15,000 crore package to combat spread of Coronavirus

Centre has sanctioned INR 15,000 crore for the 'India COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health System Preparedness Package'. Out of the total funds, INR 7,774 crore will be utilised for COVID-19 emergency response and remaining for medium-term support over 1-4 years to be provided under the mission mode approach. The project will be implemented in three phases from January 2020 to March 2024. J&K and Ladakh make wearing face masks mandatory

According to the General Administration Department (GAD), face masks have been made mandatory for all the officers, staff and visitors in the Civil Secretariat as a preventive measure to stop the spread of coronavirus. The Civil Secretariat is presently functional as part of the bi-annual darbar move, under which the government functions six months each in Jammu and Srinagar during winter and summer months. District Magistrate, Leh, Sachin Kumar Vaishya has ordered the general public as well as the government officials (both civilian and armed forces) to mandatorily wear the face masks at public places without any exemption.
