2 dead, 6 injured in road accident in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh

In Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh, two people have lost their lives and six others have received injuries after a car fell into a deep ditch. As per media reports, the injured have been admitted to the local hospital for the treatment. After receiving information about the accident, the administration and police team rushed to the spot. Indian Army fires Excalibur precision-guided ammunition from M-777 howitzers in Pokhran

In Rajasthan's Pokhran, the Indian Army has fired Excalibur precision-guided ammunition from M-777 artillery howitzer. The Excalibur can infiltrate 8-10 inches thick concrete bunkers and walls and will lessen the odds of collateral damage when used against the enemy. The range of the Excalibur ammunition is somewhere in the range of 35 and 40 km. Drunk man chops off sister-in-law's nose with knife in Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, a man allegedly chopped off his sister-in-law's nose with a knife. As per the victim, she doesn't know the reason why the accused did this. She further said that he was drunk and the incident took place at around 6:OO IST yesterday. The police said the incident took place over an issue of milk. Police initiates action against illegal extraction of sand in J&K, 10 arrested

In Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, as many as 10 people have been arrested as the police initiated action against illegal extraction of sand from the Rambi Ara river.
