PM Modi & US President Donald Trump discuss India-US partnership to battle Covid-19 crisis

In a tweet today, PM Narendra Modi said that he had an extensive telephone conversation with President Donald Trump and further added that they had a good discussion, and agreed to deploy the full strength of the India-US partnership to fight COVID-19. India has recorded 75 deaths due to Covid-19 so far, while the total number of cases has climbed to 3,072, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday evening. PM Modi to discuss COVID-19 issues with floor leaders of political parties on April 8

In a press release, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi reported that PM Narendra Modi will interact with floor leaders of various political parties through video conferencing on April 8 to discuss issues related to Coronavirus. The video conference is scheduled for 11 am. This comes as Coronavirus cases in India crossed 3,000 and the death toll rose to 75. Government clarifies no need to switch off computers, fans, ACs tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal for a show of solidarity to fight the darkness of coronavirus tomorrow at p.m. The Power Ministry said the appeal of the Prime Minister is to simply switch off the lights in their homes from 9 pm to 9.09 pm on April 5. He further added there is no call to switch off either street lights or appliances like computers, TVs, fans, refrigerators and ACs in the homes. Only lights should be switched off.
