Bail plea of law student, who accused Chinmayanand of rape, rejected

Recently it was confirmed by the media reports that the bail plea of the Uttar Pradesh law student who was arrested in the case of extorting money from former BJP leader Chinmayanand has been rejected. The 23-year-old woman was arrested around at 9.15 am from her home by a special investigation team (SIT) amid large police deployment and currently, she was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the local court. Death toll from earthquake in PoK rises to 37; 500 others injured

The death toll from the 5.8-magnitude earthquake that hit the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Tuesday has gone up to 37. In addition to that media reports also claimed that nearly 500 others have been brutally injured. Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) had earlier claimed of losing 25 lives, most of which occurred in Pakistani Kashmir. The earthquake damaged homes and shops and split open roads. Kerala: A woman police officer donates hair for cancer patients' wigs

Aparna Lavakumar, a senior civil police officer who hails from Kerala has proved that hope for humanity isn’t lost. As per the recent media reports, she shaved off her head and donated her hair to make wigs for cancer patients. Over this matter, she said that "Your words and deeds are important than your external look."
