Maharashtra: State govt sanctions INR 10,000-crore aid for rain-hit farmers

Recently it was confirmed by the Maharashtra government on Saturday that it has approved INR 10,000 crores as a special provision to provide immediate assistance to farmers affected by unseasonal rains in the Marathwada region of the state. The decision was taken by CM Devendra Fadnavis at the meeting of a Cabinet sub-committee to discuss the losses. Indian Musician Shubhendra Rao accuses Air India for breaking his instrument

The famous Indian Classical musician Shubhendra Rao took to his social media account to decry his broken instrument. Rao accused Air India of breaking his sitar along with posting the pictures of the instrument. When Rao arrived in New York where he was to perform in an event found his sitar broken as he took down from the flight. United Nations Security Council not to discuss over Kashmir: Karen Pierce

The President of United Nations Security Council for this month Karen Pierce said that the council is not up for carrying on any discussions regarding the Kashmir issue as it was done recently on China’s request no other member is asking for the discussion on the same. Earlier India slammed China when it said that the revocation of article 370 is unlawful and a threat to its sovereignty against which India said that it is our internal matter and China should stay away.
