AAP MLA Amanatullah offers 5 lakhs, job to Jamia student who lost one eye in CAA protest

AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has announced INR 5 lakh and a job at the Delhi Waqf Board to Minhajuddin who had lost his one eye during the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Khan is also a chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board. Minhajuddin, a third-year LLM student in Jamia Millia Islamia University was studying in the library when the incident took place. Self-styled Godman dupes a woman of INR 2.7 lakh in the name of rituals in Hyderabad

The Police have arrested a self-styled Godman, identified as E Kumar Girish Singh in Hyderabad for allegedly duping a woman of INR 2.7 lakh in the name of rituals. 2 months ago, Singh allegedly told the victim that he needed INR 1 lakh to perform a ritual. The woman believed the godman and gave ATM card and PIN to him. Singh took the card and withdrew INR 2.7 lakh instead of INR 1 lakh. When the woman learned about the transaction, she told the Police. Lucknow protesters set police station on fire

Protesters were protesting in Lucknow against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Meanwhile, some protesters set a police station on fire as well as the vehicles near the station. The incident was shot in the video and the police have taken 20 people into custody. According to the police, they were having a high time maintaining law and order. Jammu and Kashmir police snatches 2 journalists' phones while covering anti-CAA protest

A group of journalists was covering the protest by students against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Srinagar. During the protest, the police assaulted journalists and snatched phones of Anees Zargar and Azaan Javaid because they were recording the event. After this incident, the Kashmir Press Club demanded action. Later, the SP ensured the media that an inquiry will be held and have asked the police to submit a report within 10 days.
