Police seizes 'Gutka' worth INR I Cr in Andhra Pradesh's Chitoor, 7 arrested

In Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district, the police have arrested seven people and seized 'Gutka' worth INR 1 Cr from their possession. As per the police, three of the accused have been identified as Mathu Kumar, Satish, and Venkatesh. Gutka was illegally manufactured and supplied to shops. Delhi police booked 99 people for marching towards UP bhawan, demands release of Kafeel

The Delhi Police have booked 99 people when they were marching towards Uttar Pradesh Bhawan. They were demanding the release of Gorakhpur doctor Kafeel Khan and Ulema Council national general secretary Tahir Madni. Both of them were charged for raising the anti-CAA slogan. Nirbhaya convict Vinay Sharma moves EC, challenging rejection of mercy petition

Amid hanging of four Nirbhaya gang-rape and the murder case convicts, one of the convicts Vinay Sharma has moved to the Election Commission of India to challenge the rejection of his mercy petition. Lawyer A P Singh told the poll that the Model Code of Conduct was there in Delhi when his plea for grant of mercy was rejected. Nirbhaya convict Vinay fails to identify mother after head injury, urges court for aid

One of the four convicts in the 2012 Delhi gangrape case, Vinay Sharma moved a Delhi court seeking better treatment for his alleged mental illness, schizophrenia, and a head injury after he banged his head against a wall of his cell at the Tihar Jail on Monday. According to his counsel AP Singh, Vinay could not identify him and his mother in jail. The court has sought a response from Tihar and directed the authorities to file a reply on Saturday.
