"If I voted to power, we will jail the Election Commission for two days", Prakash Ambedkar.
Prakash Ambdekar, the grandson of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and a leader of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi erupted a controversy after he threatened Election Commission to put them behind the bars for two days, if voted to power. Prakash while speaking at rally claimed, "We have lost 40 soldiers in Pulwama, but still sitting quietly and the Election Commission have asked us not to speak on the Pulwama attack. How can the Election Commission gag us? Our Constitution has given us the right to speak. and further said that if I voted to power, we will jail the Election Commission for two days." The Dalit leader is contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Solapur and Akola constituencies in Maharashtra.
