NCP-Congress-Shiv Sena submits 154 majority letters to governor

Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress party has submitted the letter that proves the majority to the Governor. The three parties claimed the support of MLAs to form the government which includes 56 Shiv Sena MLAs, Congress 44 and NCP 48 and others from independent parties. However, NCP’s Ajit Pawar claims to have signatures of 51 out of its 54 MLAs to form the government with BJP. BJP, Ajit Pawar running away from floor test: Randeep Surjewala

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala, while addressing a press conference, stated that the BJP and Ajit Pawar, who broke away from the NCP to be part of Maharashtra govt, are flinching and running away from the floor test. Surjewala further claimed that the NCP-Congress-Shiv Sena combine has a majority in the state Assembly. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has snubbed Ajit Pawar's statement as false and misleading on Twitter, saying that there was no question of an alliance with the BJP and that NCP has unanimously decided to ally with ShivSena & Congress to form the Maharashtra government.
