A man caught by his wife for an affair; murdered her by injecting pesticide in Bengalu

Recently a man identified as Venkatesh G has been arrested for allegedly murdering his own wife after he was caught for having an illicit affair with another woman. As per the media reports, the couple had been fighting over the past few months ever since Deepa found out about Venkatesh's illicit affair and confronted him over it. Nigerian national arrested with drugs worth INR 5.4 lakhs in Goa

In Goa's Siolim region, a Crime Branch team has arrested a Nigerian national and seized contraband drugs from his possession. The accused has been identified as Onyinyechi Eniyinnaya Arungwa Peter. As per the police, Peter was carrying cocaine weighing around 48.30 grams and LSD paper weighing around 0.12 grams worth INR 5.4 lakh in his Scooter. The police further said that after receiving information, the team intercepted the accused and arrested him. Five more detained J&K political leaders released

In Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar, five more political leaders, who were detained before the revocation of Article 370 have been released. As per media reports, on January 10, as a major aspect of moves to continuously release detainees in J&K, the govt revoked the detention warrants of 26 persons detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Last year in December, few J&K leaders who were detained were released. Several mainstream leaders including National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah, and People Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti are under detention following the abrogation of Article 370.
