Bull owner killed, more than 50 injured in Jallikattu event

Recently held two Jallikattu events in Palamedu, Madurai and Periya Suriyur, Tiruchi has shed more blood and killed one bull owner. In addition to that, more than 50 people have been injured as well. The bull owner, Murugan, 40, hailing from a village near Denkanikottai, was leading his bull to participate in the erudhattam in Vannathypatty when the alarmed animal jumped the leash and dragged him down. Murugan after losing his grip got hit badly by the bull in his chest. Murugan died of injuries soon after. Src: https://bit.ly/372vuwX
