Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh, while addressing a press conference, expressed, "We are very close to normalcy. If you take the entire region into account, all 10 districts of Jammu have become entirely normal, all school, colleges, and offices are open. Leh and Kargil are also normal, there is no restriction of any kind there". Singh further said that more than 90% areas are free of restrictions and 100% telephone exchanges are working now. We'll setup cow birth factories, only female calves will be born: Giriraj Singh

Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Giriraj Singh, while speaking at a dairy product launch, stated, "In the coming days, only female calves will be born in the country by using sex-sorted semen technology. We will set up cow birth factories". Singh added that this year,30 lakh sex-sorted semen will be given and till 2025, there will be 10 Cr female cows in the country. Penalties under New Motor Vehicles Act will not be implemented in MP: Law Minister PC Sharma

Madhya Pradesh Law Minister PC Sharma, in an interview, stated, "The Central govt should review the latest rules. CM Kamal Nath has said that the notification has not been issued and therefore, from today, 1st September, the traffic rules will not apply here. It will be deliberated upon". Sharma further said he thinks that the new traffic rules made by the Central Govt that fines Rs 5,000 for driving without helmet or fine of Rs 10,000 is not right and also too expensive. All-round mismanagement of Modi govt responsible for worrisome economy: Manmohan Singh

Former PM and seasoned Economist Manmohan Singh slammed PM Modi-led govt over the economic growth drooped to a seven-year low of 5% in April to June quarter. Singh expressed, "The state of the economy today is deeply worrying. The last quarter's GDP growth rate of 5% signals that we are amid a prolonged slowdown. India has the potential to grow at a much faster rate but all-round mismanagement by the Modi govt has resulted in the slowdown". He added that country's youth, farmers and farmworkers, entrepreneurs and the marginalized section deserve better. India can't stand to proceed down this way. Consequently, he urged the govt to put aside grudge politics, and contact all sane voices and thinking minds, to control the country's economy out of this man-made crisis.
