Chidambaram is a 'Chindi Chor', says Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, in an interview, called senior Congress leader P Chidambaram a 'Chindi Chor' for accusing the central govt of being the real "Tukde Tukde" gang. Pradhan further said that Chidambaram recently came back from jail on charges of theft. The country knows what kind of work was done in his time. "People like Chidambaram will always have trouble with people who are following the rules and regulations", he added. 50 fall ill after eating food served from container with dead snake in Odisha

Recently as many as of 50 people have fallen ill after they had consumed food from a container that had a dead snake in it. As per the media reports the incident happened during a community feast at Maa Shankatatarini temple in Chandan Nagar Deuli village under Pattamundai block of Kendrapara district where 30 families were having their meal. Woman in Gandhi Nagar loses INR 2 lakh after clicking on link sent to her via SMS

Employee of Information Technology company identified as Priyanka Verma in Gujarat's Gandhi Nagar, lost INR 2 lakh after she clicked on a link sent to her from an unknown number via SMS. Priyanka has filed a police complaint in the Infocity police station about the matter. In the FIR she stated that on January 16, she had received a call from an unknown number and the caller kept asking if she had got any coupons from an online payment's application. Later she received a text message containing three hyperlinks and when she clicked on one of them she lost INR 2 lakh. Src: https://bit.ly/38xubWT

SC refuses to stay CAA-NPR, gives 4 weeks time to Centre to file reply

The Supreme Court today refused to put a stay on CAA, NPR process. In the Courtroom, Centre asked for 6 weeks time to file a response to the pleas challenging the implementation of CAA and NPR. However, CJI gave the Central government 4 weeks time to file a reply on the CAA-NPR issue. The Top Court directed all the High Court to restrain from hearing pleas challenging the law. CJI S A Bobde said that the petitions on Assam and Tripura might have to be heard separately. CJI indicated that a 5 judge bench will hear the subsequent matter related to the law.
