Uttar Pradesh extends closure of all schools, colleges, malls in the state till April 2

In the view of coronavirus pandemic, the Uttar Pradesh government has extended the closure of all educational institutions including schools and colleges till April 2. Further, all malls and multiplexes will also remain shut till the given date. Further, all religious leaders of Uttar Pradesh also asked to avoid visiting crowded places like temples, mosques, gurudwara, etc. to avoid Coronavirus scare. Most temples in Maharashtra close doors amid rising coronavirus cases

Amid the outbreak of Coronavirus in the city, almost all temples including Shirdi’s Sai Baba temple have decided to shut down until at least the end of March. The temple trusts responded to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s appeal to religious places to voluntarily take a call to shut their doors to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading. In Pune, the famous Dagadusheth Halwai temple has already announced its will remain close till the end of this month while in Mumbai Siddhivinayak temple has taken a similar call. Section 144 imposed in Nagpur, Nashik as total COVID-19 cases reach 39 in Maharashtra

With the number of coronavirus cases rising in Maharashtra, the state government implemented Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in Nagpur and Nashik. The aim behind the step is to prevent the spread of the virus which has killed nearly 7,000 people worldwide. India’s first marine woman pilot in quarantine after she was suspected of COVID-19

India’s first woman marine pilot was admitted to the ID and BG Hospital in Kolkata as she was suffering from fever and cough and is suspected to be coronavirus hit. She has been kept in the isolation ward under observation. Sanjoy Mukherjee, spokesperson of Kolkata Port Trust said that the woman recently returned from Colombo where she had gone for a vacation and was suffering from fever and cough.
