Man in Rajkot strangles friend to death for praising his wife

The shocking incident took place on Monday where a man from Rajkot, Gujarat allegedly murdered his friend after the latter repeatedly praised his wife. The man was identified as Nilesh Mavi. The accused murdered Mavi and dumped his body on the road near Rajkot-Jamnagar highway. Ensure safety of doctors facing harassment amid COVID-19: Amit Shah to Delhi Police

Officials reported that amid the COVID-19 outbreak, Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asked Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava to ensure the security of doctors facing harassment. His directive came after a representation was sent to him regarding the incidents of harassment of doctors by landlords. Doctors were asked to vacate after some people alleged that COVID-19 could be transmitted through them. Passenger at Kochi airport arrested after he refused to undergo COVID-19 screening

Recently a 54-year-old domestic passenger at Kochi airport was arrested by the Nedumbassery Police after he allegedly refused to undergo the screening of the health department for COVID-19. A case was filed under sections 294(B), 506(1) against the passenger for for refusing to comply with the protocol set by the Kerala health department.
