As reported by the media, since the CAA's passage in December last year, the protests have been moving into and around the university premises. Son killed mother for property in Andhra Pradesh

A man allegedly killed his mother in a property dispute in the village of Ramadasupeta in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. The accused has been identified as Koti Ramakrishna. As per media reports, Ramakrishna surrendered before the police after killing his mother Koti Anasuyamma. Police added that Ramakrishna had a quarrel with Anasuyamma on Wednesday morning, and he hit her with the leg of a cot which caused Anasuyamma to die on the spot. Two low-intensity IEDs recovered in Guwahati

In Guwahati city of Assam, police have recovered two suspected Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) of low intensity. According to police commissioner MP Gupta, the team conducted a search based on the received information and recovered two suspected IEDs from two different places. One was found near the Paltan Bazar police station while the other from the Paan Bazar area. ITBP facility looking after 399 people in Delhi who came from China

The Indo-Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) reported that an expert team of doctors and medical professionals at the Chhawla facility are looking after as many as 399 people who came back from China's Wuhan City. ITBP further reported that out of 399 people, seven are Maldivian and one Bangladeshian. It added that five persons have been shifted to Safdarjung Hospital as a precautionary measure and they are stable.
