Woman in labor pain carried for 6 km through forest due to bad roads in Tamil Nadu

Villagers of the eroded ghats in western Tamil Nadu carried a woman identified as Kumari on their shoulders with a help bamboo and cloth for about 2.5 hours and a distance of 6 km as she was in labor pain and needed medical assistance. This step was taken by the villagers as the roads of the village were washed away due to the heavy rain in the area and the ambulance demanded to bring the woman on the plain area as the roads were so damaged, operating a vehicle was not possible. The contender of President post for 2020 elections from Democratic party the Indian-origin Kamala Harris has backed out from the race of becoming the President of the USA. The Senator dropped the idea to fight the elections after seeing a period of low poll numbers and missteps that shook down her campaign for the highest post in the USA. Koch-Rajbongshis Student' Union demands separate state 'Kamatapur' and ST status in Assam

In Assam's Guwahati district, All Koch-Rajbongshi Student's Union (AKRSU) staged a protest demanding a separate state of Kamatapur and Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to Koch-Rajbongshi community. As per media reports, protestors were holding placards which read "We want Justice, No ST No rest, Fulfill our demands among others". The union said that according to the Constitution, they hold the privilege to have a different state with ST (P) status as their community fulfills all criteria to recapture their actual status. Delhi CM announced 11,000 Wi-Fi hotspots, 4,000 at bus stops & 7,000 across markets

Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that 11,000 Wi-Fi hotspots will be set up across various places in Delhi. In the press conference held at Delhi, Kejriwal said that among 11,000 hotspots 4,000 will be set at bus stops and 7000 will be established in market places. The first 100 hotspots will be inaugurated on 16th December which will cost the Delhi government INR 100 crore. The hotspots, which will be spread across all the 70 constituencies in the state, will provide free data at 200 Mbps speed within a radius of 50 meters and users will be able to use 15 GB data per month.
