Andhra Woman walks 60 km to marry her boyfriend in neighbouring village

A woman identified as Chitikala Bhavani in Andhra Pradesh walked a distance of 60 kilometres to marry her boyfriend Sai Punnayya, who lived near her village. Bhavani and Punnaya, who have been together for four years and their parents were not happy with them. However, when everything was ready to set their plan in motion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced lockdown for 21 days amid the coronavirus outbreak. 50-year-old mother travels 1,400 kms to bring back stranded son in Andhra Pradesh

50-year-old Razia Begum, teacher by profession travelled 700 km on scooty from Telangana’s Nizamabad district to Nellore, Andhra Pradesh to bring back her 17-year-old son who was stranded there due to the Covid-19 lockdown. It took her three days to cover the total distance.
