Violence is happening in West Bengal due to Mamata Banerjee: Kailash Vijayvargiya after police baton charges at BJP workers
Kolkata Police baton charged at BJP workers on Bepin Behari Ganguly Street while they were protesting against political killings in the state. The violence broke out when BJP workers were marching towards Lal Bazar, raising slogans against CM Mamata Banerjee led TMC government. Police also used water cannon and tear gas to control the situation. BJP General Secretary, Kailash Vijayvargiya, asked, "Violence is taking place in WB due to Mamata Banerjee. This is happening due to her irresponsible statements. BJP is all over the country. There is no violence anywhere except Bengal. Why?" He added, "CM Mamata Banerjee should go and see the development of Gujarat. We will make Bengal better than Gujarat. This is the resolution of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah".
