South Western Army Commander Lieutenant General Alok Kler, while indicating a departure from the conventional war techniques, stated, "It's time to incorporate assisted decision making in future warfare to be more efficient and more accurate". Kler further said that Artificial Intelligence is the next most disruptive technology in the revolution of Military Affairs as it will make the equipment progressively deadly. As per the Army official, the Army can use Artificial Intelligence in the following 10 years for decision making however a war based on Artificial Intelligence is a distant possibility. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati raised questions over the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's announcement on slashing tax on corporate companies. Mayawati on her Twitter handle stated, "The Central Govt is terming the reduction in corporate tax announced today as historic and claiming that it will end the country's economic slowdown and crisis. May it be so and the serious crisis that has come over people's livelihood should end. But the basic question is, why did we take such a step earlier which has to be taken back now?"
