Dehradun: Police fines clubs up to Rs 10,000 for noise pollution

Recently The Dehradun police have conducted raids on pubs, clubs, and bars in after getting complaints of loud music being played there after midnight. As per the media reports, the clubs raided were The Katmans, QB Lounge, The Great Indian Pub, The Spot and Black Pearl. Media reports also suggested that the Katmans and QB Lounge were fined Rs 10,000 each. Do you think other cities too should ban the clubs and pubs from playing loud music after midnight? 8 killed, 20 injured as bus crashes into truck in Rajasthan

Recently as many as eight people have lost their lives while nearly 20 other passengers were brutally injured when a bus carrying passengers collided with a truck near Lamana village. Dr. Anil Jain, from the nearest hospital, has informed that "Five people were brought dead to the hospital after the accident here. We are treating all the patients as per their injuries.” Media reports suggested that a passenger, who escaped with minor injuries, blamed the truck driver for the accident.
