Unable to understand English, nursing student commits suicide

Recently, in Kolkata, a woman identified as Samapti hanged herself because she was not able to understand lectures in English. The nursing student left a suicide note where she wrote that she was depressed as she was unable to understand and was also worried about INR 5 lakh loan which her father took for her higher studies. Man extorts INR 7 lakh, threatens woman with her private picture; arrested

Recently, a man identified as Raj Singh blackmailed a woman from New York and extorted money INR 7 lakh from her. The victim and the accused met online where Raj introduced himself as a junior artiste. Later, the victim shared a private picture with him as he had promised her to give her role in Bollywood movies. After that, the accused blackmailed her for six months and extorted money. Bankers steal INR 25.8 lakh from dead woman’s A/C

Recently, in Vayalur of Tamil Nadu, two employees identified as Sheikh Mohideen and Chinnadurai of a nationalized bank allegedly duped money of a dead woman identified as Emisola’s account that had INR 25.8 lakh. The employee observed that no one had come to claim the money deposited in the account of Emisola, they renewed the account, forged her signature and withdrew money through her ATM card. Political parties start media house, compromise the value of journalism: Venkaiah Naidu

Recently, at an event organized by the Press Council of India to observe the National Press Day, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu claimed that the value of journalism has been compromised when political parties and business groups started their own newspapers and channels. He further added that if the newspaper is owned by political parties then it should be mentioned. Naidu said that sensationalism has become the order of the day which has become senseless news.
