DMK party demands stay of Narendra Modi’s Biopic. Asks EC to postpone the release.

DMK party demanded Election Commission to put a stay on PM Narendra Modi’s Biopic. The party claimed that the film portrays the political lifestyle of the PM which can influence the voters during election. The DMK, PS Arasu Bhupathi from Pollachi wrote to Chief Election Commission to postpone the release of the film. The film is scheduled to release on April 12.

PM Modi in a series of tweet attacked Congress and Samajwadi Party for alleging BJP with false accusations & raising doubts over Balakot Strike. The SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav alleged the BJP of planning Pulwama attack for merely gaining votes. Following to this PM Modi lashed out at Gopal on twitter. He said “Insults to all those who have given lives in protecting Kashmir ..Humiliating to families of Martyrs”.

Following the controversy erupted after Rahul close aide Sam Pitroda raised questions on no. of casualties in Balakot Airstrike, PM Narendra Modi slammed Congress and said the Close Aide of Rahul Gandhi has confirmed that Congress party favors Pakistan and is unwilling to fight terrorism. He also added that the party has insulted the Indian Armed Forces by such comments.

Building in Dharwad collapsed, killed more than 10 people. 10 are still under debris.

A four storey under constructed building collapsed in Dharwad, Karnataka on Tuesday. Rescue team NDRF, SDRF are still carrying out rescue operation . According to reports as many as 12 died in the accident and 10 are still reported to be under the debris. 61 have been rescued so far. It is 3rd day of rescue operation. Karnataka CM HD Kumarswamy visited the accident site Today. No action has been taken against the builders yet.
