A woman came to give exam; raped by her cousin in a hotel

Recently, Gurugram, a woman was raped by her cousin in the hotel room. The woman was from Haryana and came to Gurugram for exams where she met her cousin at the examination center. The cousin convinced the women to stay with him at a hotel where she was sexually assaulted by him as well as was threatened to not disclose the incident to anyone. The police are investigating the incident. Src:

Indian economy is facing challenges: Nirmala Sitharaman

During the book launch of ‘The Rise of Finance: Causes, Consequences and Cure', Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that the book will help to understand the current economic situation that both world and Indian Economy is facing. Indian economic growth has fallen down by 5% which is the lowest and the RBI policies had cut its economic growth projection for the country for this fiscal to 6.1 per cent from 6.9 per cent, predicting it will grow in second half of 2019-2020. JNU students protest against hike fees; police resorts water cannons on students

The Jawaharlal Nehru Students' Union marching protest outside the campus over a 300 per cent hike in fees and changes in hostel rules and regulation. The students tried to cross police barricades and marched towards the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in Vasant Kunj, while police locked the gates of AICTE which led to clash between Delhi police and JNU students. Police used batons water cannons and barricades to keep protester away. The protesters demanded the withdrawal of the hostel manual which include fee hike, dress code and curfew timings Src:

Three new cities added to host the matches in IPL 2020

Recently it was confirmed by the media reports that three new cities namely Lucknow, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will also host some of the IPL matches next year. The decision was taken by the BCCI officials and the owners of the 8 IPL franchises. It was also added that a few of the franchises are reportedly keen to play international friendlies with the other cricket clubs around the world. Do you support such views?
