Cops deny about accused being minors in Hyd vet's case; report submitted to NHRC

The Hyderabad Police have submitted the report to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and according to that, they have cleared that two accused were not minors. The police confirmed that they have checked the accused’s Aadhaar cards and their age was 20-21. Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar clarified after the encounter that the culprits aged between 20-26. More than 100 IIMC students write to I&B Ministry against 100% fee hike in 10 years

Over 100 students of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) have written a letter to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry about 100 percent fee hike in the last 10 years and has demanded a rollback. 120 students stated that the fee structure of the institute should be re-examined by all the stakeholders including students and officials and there was too much burden on the students regarding the current fee structure. 2-month-old baby died after ambulance got stuck in a roadblock amid Tripura protest

On 10th December, a 2-month-old baby died when the ambulance got stuck in a road blockade during the Tripura 12-hour bandh to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. The baby was seriously ill and was taken to the hospital to Ambasssa for better treatment. Abhijeet Banerjee wore dhoti & Duflo donned a sari to receive their Economics Nobel

At a ceremony in Oslo Indian-American economist Abhijeet Banerjee, with his partner, Esther Duflo and fellow economist Michael Kremer received the Nobel Prize in Economics today. Abhijeet had worn a dhoti and a bandhgala jacket, Duflo attended the ceremony in a blue sari, while Kremer was seen in a suit to receive the Nobel prize. The three were awarded the 2019 Nobel Economics Prize for their experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.
