Google Maps covers 98% of world population & captured 10 m miles of street view images

Google revealed in a blog post that Google Earth now covers more than 98 percent of the world, and has captured 10 million miles of Street View imagery, which is distance enough to circle the globe 400 times. Google Earth also lets users browse more than 36 million square miles of satellite imagery. Google also discussed the techniques it uses to capture map imagery, it uses Street View cars equipped with cameras that can take photos from various angles while they're driving. Chhattisgarh police arrests man for allegedly raping woman in Raipur

In Chhattisgarh's Raipur district, the police have arrested a person for allegedly raping a woman in a hotel. As per the police, the accused had come for training at Hotel Sheetal on VIP Road. Later he was shifted to Corbiz Hotel in Pachpedi Naka, where the incident took place. The police further said that the victim had also come to the hotel for a training session at an automobile company. The accused has been identified as Varun Nair.
