Bengaluru techie lost INR 4 lakh after signing up for dating portal in online scam

Another scam from Bengaluru has been reported, this time the amount was INR 4.19 lakhs. As per the media reports the Bengaluru techie had enrolled in a dating company and paid INR 2,000 as enrollment fees. After this, the man again received the call on December 20 and 31, asking for more payments, totalling 4.19 lakh. CU students shout ‘Go back’ to stop Governor Jagdeep from attending their convocation

Governor of West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankhar was unable to attend the convocation of Calcutta University (CU) in Kolkata on Tuesday and had to leave as a section of students held protests. Students shouted ‘Go Back’ slogans and showed him black flags as soon as Dhankhar approached Nazrul Mancha auditorium in south Kolkata, where the convocation was held. Also, the officials of the university claimed that the invitation were sent to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee & state education minister Partha Chatterjee too, but they did not attend the convocation.
