Uber submits an appeal to regain its taxi license in London

Uber has submitted an appeal on Friday against a decision by London's transport regulator to revoke the taxi application’s right to operate in one its most important markets, setting up a potentially lengthy legal process during which it can continue to take rides. The Transport regulator of London's director Helen Chapman said that it would now be for a magistrate to decide. The license was revoked after the regulator found that at least 14,000 uninsured trips were taken by nearly 43 drivers which placed passengers' safety in London at risk. Src: https://bit.ly/2LRfqWg
