At this rate, Virat Kohli set to be Sir Donald Bradman of ODI batsmen: Ian Chappell

The term “Best of” is often associated with musical albums but it’s hard not to come to the conclusion that MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli belong in that category in the ODI game. In admiring Dhoni’s calm conclusion to both India’s victories at the Adelaide Oval and the MCG, it was yet another reminder of what a cool, calculating finisher he is in ODIs. He only has one challenger as the best finisher in the game - Australia’s Michael Bevan - but Dhoni’s remarkable longevity and frequency of success surely gains him the nod. Source: HT

MS Dhoni is still world’s best ODI finisher - Ian Chappell

The jury is still out on whether Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s much acclaimed finishing powers are on the wane or not but former Australia captain Ian Chappell still considers the World Cup winning former skipper as the “best finisher” in 50-over format.
