Indian Air Force officer arrested for posing as Amit Shah on call with MP’s Governor

A serving wing commander of the Indian Air Force was arrested by Madhya Pradesh Special Task Force for allegedly posing as Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a phone call to MP’s state Governor Lalji Tandon. IAF commander identified as Kuldeep Baghela called Tandon posing as Amit Shah to facilitate his friend’s appointment as the vice-chancellor of a Jabalpur-based Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University. Hangman of Nirbhaya rape convicts says, will use the money to marry off my daughter

Pawan Jallad is one of the two hangmen in Uttar Pradesh, who could be called for hanging four of the six rapists of the 23-year-old woman on 22nd Jan. Pawan said the government is going to give INR 25,000 for hanging each convict, and he can get in total INR 1 lakh. He added that he will use the money to marry off her youngest daughter and will even repay his loans. Two men raped 21-year-old woman in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, two men allegedly raped a 21-year-old woman. The incident took place when the accused were drunk and raped her on December 28. One accused is claimed to be a minor. According to the victim, the father of one accused owns a hostel where she was raped. The accused warned her that if she told anyone then they will make her obscene video viral. India-Sri Lanka working together to combat terrorism, says Sri Lankan Foreign Minister

Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, who is on a two-day visit to India, in an interview, asserted that terrorism is a danger for both the nation and it is a growing problem across the world. Gunawardena further said that India and Srilanka are giving special attention to it and working together to combat its menace. He added that last year, when he visited Delhi, India had announced special financial assistance to Sri Lanka to counter-terrorism after holding talks with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
