IPL 2020 to have exclusive umpire to monitor no-balls

The most prominent league in the country, India Premier League has recently claimed of introducing an exclusive umpire, who will be assigned specifically to check the "no-balls" in the upcoming season of IPL. An official from IPL has said that “The concept sounds weird, but this was among the issues discussed in the first IPL Governing Council meeting which was held here.” Senior claimed that "We want to use the technology...The [no-ball umpire] will not be third or fourth umpire.” Do you stand with IPL’s this decision? Kartarpur corridor to be flagged off today by PM Narendra Modi

Today will turn out to be the happiest day for the Sikh community across the two countries, India and Pakistan as the Indian PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Kartarpur corridor at 12:30 PM along with counter-side Pakistan which formally inaugurated the corridor at 11.30 PM (IST). PM Narendra Modi went to Sultanpur Lodhi Ber Sahib Gurudwara to pay homage post which he will be inaugurating the corridor from Dera Baba Nanak after addressing the pilgrims there. Rajasthan: Internet services temporarily suspended, section 144 imposed in Jaisalmer

Ahead of the verdict of the Supreme Court today in the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute, the Bharatpur Divisional Commissioner issued a letter in which he ordered a 24-hour internet suspension from 6 AM IST today. This includes 2G, 3G, 4G data internet services and a suspension of WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and all other social media by internet service providers. Apart from this, the district's schools and colleges will remain closed. Section 144 of the CrPC has also been implemented in Jaisalmer in order to maintain law and order. Ayodhya verdict: Schools, colleges shut in UP, MP, K'taka, J&K, Delhi; Section 144 imposed

Ahead of the Supreme Court's decision in Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute today, schools, colleges, and other educational institutes will remain closed in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, and Delhi. Section 144 of CrPC, which prohibits the gathering of more than four people, has been imposed in entire Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal, and Bengaluru. The Jammu and Kashmir's administration has also postponed examination and declared a dry day today.
