56-year-old special Sub-Inspector shot dead at check-post border

Recently a 56-year-old police officer identified as Vincent Wilson was shot dead during routine checking of vehicles at the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border on Wednesday night. As per the media reports, the eyewitness said that Wilson was standing on the Kerala side of the state border and saw a sports utility vehicle approaching. He halted the vehicle but the people sitting inside the car opened fire at the sub-inspector and killed him. Reports confirmed that the identified two of the suspects were Thoufeeq and Abdul Shameem. Two Nirbhaya convicts filed a curative petition in Supreme Court

Two of the four men sentenced to death in the Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case have filed a curative petition in the Supreme Court. As per the media reports, Vinay Sharma and Mukesh Singh both had approached to the top court two days after a Delhi court declared that the four rapists will be hanged at 7 am on January 22. GoAir pilots lost sight of runway 50 feet above surface, landed on grass

The GoAir pilots have recently endangered the lives of 146 passengers, while they lost the sight of surface and landed on the grass. As per the media reports, its flight crew lost sight of the runway just 50 feet above the surface of Bengaluru airport in foggy weather conditions. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India's aviation regulator, has now suspended the pilots of GoAir Flight G8-811 which was on a flight from Nagpur to Bengaluru when the serious incident.
