BCCI bans India U19 fast bowler Rashik Salam for 2 Years over Falsifying Certificates

The 18-year-old right-arm fast bowler, Rashik Salam from J&K has been banned by the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) for 2 years. According to the official information, Salam has submitted a forged birth certificate to get admitted in the team. Recently when this information was brought into the lights, BCCI took the actions against him.

Shikhar Dhawan no longer to be a part of ICC World Cup 2019

During ongoing ICC World Cup, Indian cricket team experienced an immense stun as Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has been excluded the four-year event due to a fractured thumb. Earlier, Dhawan didn't participate in a couple of matches as his thumb was hit by Pat Cummings while playing a match against Australia. As per the sources, Rishabh Pant will be the official substitution as Dhawan is not in the situation to be a part of the ICC World Cup 2019.

Shikhar Dhawan's fractured thumb gave a place to Rishabh Pant

India has been playing fantastic cricket so far in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. In the 2nd Match against Australia, left-handed Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan had fractured his left thumb. Hence, the team management has decided to give him rest to recover. This very spot became the opportunity for India's young Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. As per the information available Pant has already flown to England.
