Delhi govt schools to start 'Deshbhakti' curriculum from next year: Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the launch of the 'Constitution at 70' campaign announced that a new 'Deshbhakti' curriculum will be started from next year in government schools of the state to inculcate a feeling of nationalism among students. Kejriwal said the decision to introduce the curriculum was taken at a meeting on Tuesday between him and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who also holds the education portfolio. 11,000 hotspots to provide free Wi-Fi across Delhi soon

Arvind Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is likely to set up about 11,000 hotspots across the city where residents will be able to access the internet. The official said that Wi-Fi signals will be available within a radius of about 50 meters from where the router is installed. Each user will get 15GB of free data per month through this technology. 4,000 hotspots will be installed at bus stops. Further, Kejriwal also announced that more 1,40,000 CCTVs will be installed. Kejriwal's office received 2 emails with alleged threats to kill him

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's office has received two emails (first on July 25, second on July 30) from an unknown e-mail ID, allegedly threatening to kill him. DCP, Anyesh Roy, stated that a complaint has been registered under section 506 of the IPC and the department is attempting to identify and nab the accused. According to an investigator, both the threat letter didn't have any content aside from "...kill,kill,kill..." written in the title. The officer further said that the department has approached the service provider concerned and looked for insights concerning the user of the email ID.
