Will appeal to SC to ensure delay tactics in Nirbhaya's case doesn't repeat: Asha Devi

After all four death row convicts were hanged to death at Tihar Jai (Delhi) in the 2012 Delhi gang-rape and murder case, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi has said she will appeal to the Supreme Court to set out guidelines so that the delay tactics used in Nirbhaya's trial will not be repeated in other cases. Asha Devi further said the process of the death row convicts making use of legal remedies should be time-bound. She stressed that they should only be permitted to file their curative petition and mercy pleas together in cases involving more than one convicted person and not individually.
