Girl gang raped in March, set ablaze by the accused in Unnao

In Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao, a rape survivor who was gang-raped by group of men in March was set ablaze allegedly by the one of the accused, who was out on the bail. The incident took place when she was on her way to the court to hear the plea of rape case when the accused along with four others set her on fire. The police have arrested three accused out of five. Woman in labor pain carried for 6 km through forest due to bad roads in Tamil Nadu

Villagers of the eroded ghats in western Tamil Nadu carried a woman identified as Kumari on their shoulders with a help bamboo and cloth for about 2.5 hours and a distance of 6 km as she was in labor pain and needed medical assistance. This step was taken by the villagers as the roads of the village were washed away due to the heavy rain in the area and the ambulance demanded to bring the woman on the plain area as the roads were so damaged, operating a vehicle was not possible. Delhi CM announced 11,000 Wi-Fi hotspots, 4,000 at bus stops & 7,000 across markets

Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that 11,000 Wi-Fi hotspots will be set up across various places in Delhi. In the press conference held at Delhi, Kejriwal said that among 11,000 hotspots 4,000 will be set at bus stops and 7000 will be established in market places. The first 100 hotspots will be inaugurated on 16th December which will cost the Delhi government INR 100 crore. The hotspots, which will be spread across all the 70 constituencies in the state, will provide free data at 200 Mbps speed within a radius of 50 meters and users will be able to use 15 GB data per month.
