Apple to launch its 16-inch MacBook in October

Recently the electronics giant, Apple has declared to launch its 16-inch MacBook Pro, a latest high-end laptop, globally in the early October. The starting price of the laptop is said to be $ 3000. It will feature with an all-new design. Along with 16-inch screen size, the laptop will run over macOS Catalina. Also, it is expected to come with Intel’s newest 9th Gen H-series CPUs. Netflix announced cheap mobile subscription plan at Rs 199/month to target the Indian market

Netflix launched a cheaper mobile subscription plan to target the Indian market Recently a report suggested that the American media company Netflix is losing its market because of its high prices and ruthless market competitors such as Hotstar and Amazon Prime. Hence to target the Indian consumers the company has introduced their Mobile-Only plans starting at Rs 199/month. Netflix was offering a Rs 250 plan during the test phase but it has decided to offer a much cheaper subscription plan at Rs 199. Src: https://bit.ly/30VnrOG

Income tax returns deadline extended to August 31

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) extended the due date for filing Income Tax Returns for individuals for FY2018-19 from July 31 to August 31. This applies to taxpayers other than corporate taxpayers and a few others, including non-corporate entities, the books of which need not be audited. The extension was necessary because the tax department had earlier made changes in the format of tax returns and the TDS certificates. India’s Internet Speeds is growing slower than other countries

In a monthly global speed test report by internet testing, data and analysis company Ookla, Country's average mobile internet and fixed broadband speeds have plummeted further. In the last month, India also slipped to 74th position in the last month. The broadband speed in June stood at 29.06 Mbps, whereas the global average speed stood at 59.45 Mbps. Doug Suttles the co-founder and GM of Ookla in his own words informed, "India needs to focus on developing a sophisticated network infrastructure to fix poor network quality and low connectivity speeds".
