NRC to have no implications for Bangladesh: Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla

At a seminar entitled "Bangladesh and India: A Promising Future" in Bangladesh's Dhaka, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla stated that it is unavoidable that events in each other's countries generate ripples across the border as closest to neighbours. Shringla further said that a recent example is a process of updating NRC in Assam which took place entirely in the Supreme Court direction. He added that this is an entirely internal mechanism with India. So there will be no implications for the Bangladesh Govt and the Bangladesh people. Src: https://bit.ly/2VGRKtc
