India to build 11 new supercomputers, with indigenous processors

Recently the central government has approved of building and installing of 11 new supercomputers in research institutes across the country in the next phase of the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM). The NSM is being implemented through Pune's Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and Bengaluru's Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The 11 supercomputers will have processors designed by C-DAC. By the year 2022, the government is aiming to install as many as 73 indigenous supercomputers across the country. Actress Sadaf Jafar arrested and allegedly beaten by Lucknow police amid anti-CAA protest

Recently the Congress worker, social activist and actress of 'A Suitable Boy' movie, Sadaf Jafar was held and allegedly thrashed during a demonstration against the CAA in Lucknow. Before her arrest, Jafar had posted critical videos accusing the state police of inaction during the clashes. 9 dead in fire at Delhi cloth godown, 10 others have been brutally injured

Recently it was confirmed by the media reports that at least 9 people have been lost their lives while 10 others have been brutally injured in a fire at a cloth godown in Kirari area situated in Delhi. As per the media reports, the godown is situated on the ground floor of a four-storey building that has no fire equipment and single staircase. 879 arrested, 5,312 taken into preventive detention across UP over anti-CAA protests

Recently the UP Police in the statement revealed that 164 cases have been registered while 879 persons have been arrested and 5,312 persons have been taken into preventive detention in connection with incidents of violence across the state during anti-CAA protests.
