Recently the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee has slammed Amit Shah and said that instead of coming to Bengal, Home Minister Amit Shah should have apologised for failing to save more than 50 innocent lives lost in Delhi violence "right under his nose". He had further said that West Bengal is better off without bigotry and hatred that BJP is trying to spread. GST collection rises by 8.3% in February stands at INR 1.05 trillion

Recently it was confirmed by the media reports that the government's GST collection in the month of February has risen by 8.3% to INR 1.05 trillion, compared to the same time a year ago. While comparing to the month of January, the Centre and state governments had collected INR 1.1 trillion. This is the fourth consecutive month of GST receipts remaining above the INR 1 trillion marks this financial year.
