5 villages declared as red zones to prevent Coronavirus spread in Jammu & Kashmir

Officials have reported that five villages in Manjakote tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district were on Saturday declared as red zones and their surrounding villages as buffer zones to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The villages include Sarola, Dehridhara, Mangal Nar, Gambir Muglan and Kotli. Amid lockdown, 1987 popular show “Ramayan” will be telecast again from March 28. It was announced by Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar. He tweeted, “on public demand, we are starting to retelecast of 'Ramayana' from tomorrow, Saturday, March 28 in DD National, One episode in morning 9 am to 10 am, another at 9 pm to 10 pm”. Police officer Gupta turns home into community kitchen to serve the poor& homeless

In Meerut, Police officer Vijay Gupta has turned home into a community to serve the poor and the homeless during the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of Coronavirus. While talking to media, he said that he was distributing food to beggars, homeless and rickshaw pullers mostly. He further added that when a partial lockdown was announced, the police officer asked two cooks to come and stay at his house and prepared food for people living on the streets during the pandemic. Ward boy in Patna tests positive for Coronavirus after coming in contact with the patient

Amid Coronavirus outbreak, a 20-year-old man who worked in Patna hospital as a ward boy has tested positive. He allegedly came into contact with a Coronavirus patient. According to reports, authorities have ordered all doctors, nurses and other staff of the hospital to be quarantined. The blood samples of the staff have been sent for testing.
