Gujarat: Two arrested for firing a jeep and making its TikTok video

Recently a case has come into lights in which two people Indrajitsinh Jadeja (33) and his friend Nimesh Gohel (28) have allegedly set fire on their jeep at Kotharia road in Rajkot on September 2. Indrajitsinh poured petrol on his own jeep and set it ablaze by throwing a lit matchstick. Meanwhile, his friend Nimesh shot the entire incident and created a video of it to post it over TikTok. Both the accused were booked under IPC section 285 (negligent conduct with respect to fire) by the Bhaktinagar Police on September 3, informed the media reports. Src: https://bit.ly/2k5iaVg

TikTok parent company, ByteDance launched a new search engine in China

Recently the short-video sharing app TikTok's parent company, ByteDance has launched a new search engine in China. the search engine would offer content from ByteDance-owned apps, including Jinri Toutiao and the Chinese version of TikTok, as well as the wider web. The company on social media recently said that they are also looking to hire people to work with its search engine team, and had hired technical experts from Google, Baidu and Bing. Man fires in air on birthday for TikTok video in Delhi, arrested

The Chinese video making and sharing app called TikTok has grown at a phenomenal pace in India. In a recent incident, Faizan, a man from Delhi's Chandni Mahal area was found firing in the air to 'do something different' on his 32nd birthday and shot and upload it over the TikTok. To film TikTok video a man jumps into overflowing drain, villagers save him from drowning

To film a TikTok video a man in Madhya Pradesh went into an overflowing drain in a flood-hit area in Neemuch district. The man was identified as Pappu Singh. A local resident said, “He gave his phone to some villagers, who were standing on a bridge, and started swimming in the overflowing drain. But he got stuck near the bridge and started drowning.
