Woman forced to deliver baby on roadside after hospital denied admission in UP

A pregnant woman was forced to deliver a baby on the roadside in UP's Bahraich region after the govt hospital refused to admit her. As per Medical Superintendent, the staff refused to help as she was outside the hospital premises. Delhi CM Kejriwal to give INR 10L as compensation for families of those killed in riots

Yesterday, the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced that his government will give INR 1 crore compensation to the family of Head Constable Ratan Lal, who was killed in Delhi riots. After this move today, CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced that a compensation of INR 10 lakh will be allocated to each family, whose members were killed in the riots over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and INR 2 lakh compensation for the seriously injured people. Police unable to control Delhi violence, time to call Army: CM Arvind Kejriwal

As the death toll in Delhi violence rises to 20, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said in a tweet that he has been in touch with a large number of people the whole night and the situation is alarming. He further added that despite all the efforts of the police, they have been unable to control the situation and instill confidence. The army should be called in and curfew should be imposed in the rest of affected areas immediately. He also said that he is writing to Honorable Home Minister Amit Shah to this effect.
