Uttar Pradesh: Nepal border sealed ahead of Ayodhya verdict

Ahead of the verdict of the Supreme Court today in the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute, the Uttar Pradesh-Nepal border has been sealed following a meeting of top officials with CM Yogi Adityanath. Avinash Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary for Home, said that no one without proper identification will be allowed to move along the border. Rajasthan: Internet services temporarily suspended, section 144 imposed in Jaisalmer

Ahead of the verdict of the Supreme Court today in the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute, the Bharatpur Divisional Commissioner issued a letter in which he ordered a 24-hour internet suspension from 6 AM IST today. This includes 2G, 3G, 4G data internet services and a suspension of WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and all other social media by internet service providers. Apart from this, the district's schools and colleges will remain closed. Section 144 of the CrPC has also been implemented in Jaisalmer in order to maintain law and order. Ayodhya verdict: Schools, colleges shut in UP, MP, K'taka, J&K, Delhi; Section 144 imposed

Ahead of the Supreme Court's decision in Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid land dispute today, schools, colleges, and other educational institutes will remain closed in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, and Delhi. Section 144 of CrPC, which prohibits the gathering of more than four people, has been imposed in entire Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal, and Bengaluru. The Jammu and Kashmir's administration has also postponed examination and declared a dry day today. Nitish Kumar cancels two-day visit in view of Ayodhya verdict

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has cancelled his two-day visit to Medhapura in the light of the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Ayodhya. Kumar also spoke to the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police on the possible law and order situation arising out of the judgement and instructed them to ensure law and order in the state.
