16 arrested, 36 cases registered since protests against CAA, says Assam Police

While revealing the statistics, Assam Police have said that as many as 16 people have been arrested and 36 cases were registered in Assam since the protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Taking to Twitter, Assam police said, "Following the CAA protests, 246 social media posts were found to be in conflict with the law." The CAA is gathering mixed response across the country. India U-19 defeat SA by 8 wickets, take 2-0 lead in 3-match series

Recently the Under-19 cricket team of India has performed phenomenally and defeated South Africa by 8 wickets and took the lead of 2-0 in 3-match ODI series. Violent protesters will cry under UP govt, says Yogi Adityanath
