Haryana Govt to pay double salary to doctors, nurses, medical staff

To appreciate them, the Haryana Government has decided to double the salary of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and others who are fighting against Coronavirus. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced after a meeting with civil surgeons, Indian Medical Association chiefs from various districts in the state through video conferencing. CM said till the time the coronavirus period lasts, all the staffers who are directly involved in the treatment or taking care of COVID-19 patient their salary will be doubled. 230 new cases reported in Maharashtra, 25 deaths in a day

Amid Coronavirus pandemic, Maharashtra has reported its highest number of positive cases of Coronavirus. Today, the state has reported 230 new positive cases. A health official said, "both the number of new patients and that of deaths are highest for a single day so far,". Most of the new cases were reported in Mumbai. 2 lakh migrants from 16 states housed in 711 camps in West Bengal: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said on Twitter that over 2 lakh migrant labourers and stranded people from 16 Indian states were being housed in 711 camps across the state. In her tweet, Mamata said that they are being directly taken care of by the state government along with the help of a few NGOs. Coronavirus cases in Kerala rise to 357, all 8 foreigners recovered: Kerala CM Vijayan

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday announced that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the state has risen to 357 after 12 new cases were reported in the state.
