India-Sri Lanka working together to combat terrorism, says Sri Lankan Foreign Minister

Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, who is on a two-day visit to India, in an interview, asserted that terrorism is a danger for both the nation and it is a growing problem across the world. Gunawardena further said that India and Srilanka are giving special attention to it and working together to combat its menace. He added that last year, when he visited Delhi, India had announced special financial assistance to Sri Lanka to counter-terrorism after holding talks with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Dispose of pending land cases within six months, says Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath conducted a review meeting of all the consolidation officers of the state and stated that the process of consolidation in the entire state should be taken forward on a war footing and 1,12,907 cases pending with the consolidation should be disposed within six months. Adityanath further directed the officers to form a team for 165 pending cases in the High Court and get them resolved. Vice President Naidu calls for popularising Sanskrit by simplifying its words

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, while inaugurating the 50th session of All India Oriental Conference in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, called for popularising the use of Sanskrit by simplifying its words and noted that culture and history related with a language will vanish if it becomes extinct.
