The Union Cabinet has approved the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill, 2020 to increase the upper limit for legally terminating pregnancy from the earlier 20 weeks to 24 weeks. In an interview, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said there was a demand from a group of women, doctors, and the court also asked for the same. EC orders removal of Anurag Thakur, Parvesh Verma as BJP's star campaigners

The Election Commission (EC) has ordered with immediate effect the removal of Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma from the list of BJP star campaigners for the Delhi legislative assembly elections. Earlier Tuesday, Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer said in a report to the ECI that Thakur had several times raised the slogan ' Desh ke gaddaro ko, goli maaro saalo ko ' while addressing a public meeting in Rithala on January 27. China allocates 4.4 billion yuan for Coronavirus control

In China's Beijing, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has allocated over 4.4 billion yuan to support the battle against the novel Coronavirus (nCoV). The Ministry also stated that it includes an additional 500 million yuan for central China's Hubei Province, which was hit by the Coronavirus outbreak. 8 killed, over 40 injured in Odisha as bus skidded off a mountainous road

At least eight people have lost their lives, whereas over 40 people have been brutally injured after a bus carrying passengers skidded off a mountainous road in Odisha’s coastal district of Ganjam on late Tuesday night. As per the media reports, the passenger bus headed to Berhampur town of Ganjam district from Tikiri area of Rayagada district and was negotiating the turns and bends of the mountainous road in Taptapani ghat when the driver suddenly lost control over the brakes at Palukhola area, leading the bus to fall off from a height of 30 feet.
