Indian airports may lose INR 650 Cr if proposed duty-free sales restrictions are imposed

According to a report, if the proposed duty-free sales restriction will be imposed then Indian airports will likely lose INR 650 crore per annum. The Association of Private Airport Operators claimed that if the liquor allowance will be reduced from two liters to one liter and ban on cigarettes will be in effect then there will be a disastrous effect on the domestic aviation industry. US President Donald Trump had offered his help to resolve the issue of Jammu & Kashmir between India & Pakistan before his meeting with Pak PM Imran Khan. Karnataka cricket body fined with INR 50k for using plastic cups by B’luru Municipal Corp

Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has been fined with a penalty of INR 50,000 by City civic body Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for using single use plastic cups during the recent India-Australia one day international match. The state cricket association head Vinaya Mruthyunjaya claimed that the civic body gave a general notice without detailed information on plastic use and said that they have been environmentally friendly for the last many years and all gates security has made sure no plastic or flex was allowed inside the stadium.
