India’s first private train Tejas Express Delhi - Lucknow flagged off by UP CM

Country’s first private train Delhi-Lucknow Tejas express was flagged off by UP CM Yogi Adityanath from Lucknow. It is the country’s first train to run privately by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Cooperation (IRCTC). What is unique about the train is the passenger will receive Rs 100 as compensation if the train gets delayed by an hour & Rs 250 for two or more hours. All passengers traveling by Delhi-Lucknow Tejas will get free insurance up to Rs 25 lakh by IRCTC. The fare of Tejas express would be Rs 1,125 for AC chair car and Rs 2,310 for executive chair car. Rajnath Singh flies LCA Tejas fighter, becomes first Defence Minister to fly in fighter jet

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh flew in homemade Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas that took off from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) airport. As per media reports, Singh has become the first Defence Minister to fly in the fighter jet. Project Director, National Flight Test Centre, Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Air Vice Minister N Tiwari accompanied Singh in the familiarization sortie. Before the flight, Singh on his Twitter handle stated, "All set for the day". The Tejas is an Indian Single-Engine, delta wing, multirole light fighter designed by the ADA and HAL for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. Src: https://bit.ly/2lWcs8M

Ranveer named Best Actor, Alia wins Best Actress award at IIFA 2019

Recently Indian Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and actress Alia Bhatt have bagged an achievement at the 20th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards held in Mumbai. They have been named best actor and actresses for their work in the movie 'Padmaavat' and 'Raazi' respectively. The awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting actress went to Vicky Kaushal and Aditi Rao Hydari for 'Sanju' and 'Padmaavat', respectively.
