Hopes fading on re-establishing link with lander Vikram: ISRO scientists

Recently the Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation K Sivan said that "the space agency will try to re-establish the link with Chandrayan 2's Vikram Lander". A senior official of the mission came forward and informed, "Progressively as time goes by it's difficult(to establish link) however, with "right orientation" it can still generate power and recharge batteries with solar panels". Family, lawyers can meet Chidambaram for 30 mins a day in CBI custody

On Thursday, after arresting the former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, A special CBI Court has informed that the family members and his lawyers can meet him (P Chidambaram) for 30 minutes a day in CBI's custody. India opens up 137 Himalayan peaks for mountaineering travels and expeditions, including Kanchenjunga

The government has opened for foreigners 137 Himalayan peaks, including Kanchenjunga located at a height of 8,589 meters, for mountaineering expeditions and trekking giving a major boost to tourism. Presently foreigners have to seek permission from the ministries of defence and home to climb these peaks. With the government opening them up, foreigners can now directly apply to the Indian Mountaineering Foundation for permits. Of the 137 peaks, 51 are in Uttarakhand, 24 in Sikkim, 15 in Jammu and Kashmir, and 47 in Himachal Pradesh. Src:https://bit.ly/2L2ag8o
