‘One Nation One Ration Card’ will be implemented from June: Ram Vilas Paswan

In Rajya Sabha, the government introduced the ‘One Nation One Ration Card’, which will cover migrant labourers and daily wagers. Union Minister Ram Vilas announced that the eligible beneficiaries would avail food grains under the National Food Security Act from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) in the country using the same ration card. Google may not face actions from Indian govt in the phishing probe

Google is unlikely to face any action in India in the phishing investigation. The company had announced that 500 Indian users out of 12,000 were the targets of ‘government-backed attackers’ globally. According to reports, the Center is still considering to issue a notice to Google asking why it was not brought to notice of the authorities, seeking details of the cyberattack and its impact on Indian users. A suitcase with body parts found in Mumbai’s beach

On 2nd December, a suitcase was found at Mumbai’s Mahim beach. When the police opened the suitcase, they found a chopped body part of an unidentified man stuffed in the bag. Man’s mutilated hand from shoulder, a part of a leg and private parts wrapped in a plastic bag were found. The police have sent parts for the examination and future investigation is underway. Police issues notice to TV channel and social media for revealing name of Hyderabad rape

The Hyderabad police have issued the notice to several TV channels, social media, and newspapers for revealing the name of Hyderabad’s victim who was raped and murdered. The police have sent a notice under section 149 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), where they have asked them to stop telecasting such content and delete the post from social media.
