According to the World Health Organization, Coronavirus can sicken or kill young people as well and they must also avoid mingling and spreading it to older and more vulnerable people. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus informed older people are hardest hit. Data from many countries clearly show that people under 50 make up a significant proportion of patients requiring hospitalization. India announces ban on e-ciggarettes on flight and airports

India has announced the ban on e-cigarettes in both domestic and international flights and at airports, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security said in a circular. The government had imposed a ban on production, manufacture and advertisement of e-cigarettes in 2019. Offenders will be given jail term for up to one year and a fine of INR1 lakh. The government imposed the ban under the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes (Production, Manufacture, Import, Export, Transport, Sale, Distribution, Storage and Advertisement) Act, which was passed in December 2019. Grand welcome planned for US President in Ahmedabad, will be called "Kem Chho, Trump"

During his first visit to India later this month, a grand welcome has been planned for US President Donald Trump. The visit comes five months after he joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the "Howdy, Modi!" event in Houston, Texas. President Trump, along with First Lady Melania Trump, will arrive for a two-day India visit on February 24. Trump will participate in a huge joint public meeting with PM Modi at a giant stadium, which will be similar to the "Howdy, Modi!" event held in the US and will be called "Kem Chho, Trump". Retail inflation jumps to a 6-year high of 7.59% in January

According to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation on Wednesday, India's retail inflation jumped to a six-year high of 7.59% in the month of January 2020 led by higher vegetable prices. Food price inflation in Jan was driven by vegetables which saw 50.19% jump in prices on an annual basis followed by pulse and products, which saw 16.71% increase in prices.
